The Northwest Arkansas Positive Links Support Network is a peer to peer support network for those living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.If you have recently been diagnosed with HIV or AIDS you may be feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or depressed with this life changing event. But there is help, and you do not have to manage this difficult time on your own.
Within the support network you will find a group of people who have been in your same situation. We know what it feels like.
You're not alone, and the first step to finding peace of mind, and hope for living life on the "positive side" is by connecting with a network of people just like yourself.
Maybe you have been HIV positive for a number of years, if so, your insight would be a tremendous help to the recently diagnosed.
You will never have to worry about "fitting in" because the common thread that binds the entire group together is a medical condition and not one's sexual orientation or identity.
